Sixers fall on Knicks when the loss of strips 9 reaches

New York – The Philadelphia 76ers visited the New York Knicks, who finally wanted to put an end to. This season, the Sixers were with Joel Embbiid, Guerschon Yabusele, Eric Gordon and Kyle Lowry for this one for this to throw off the kinks.

However, known problems arose for the Sixers when the Knicks lived in the color and achieved a light look all night. New York led up to 19 in the first half and brought Philadelphia 110-105 away. The Sixers have now lost nine in a row and ended the month of February with a 1-10 record. Mikal Bridges had 28 points and Jalen Brunson had 34 and seven templates for the Knicks.

Philadelphia was listed by Tyrese Maxey with 30 points, Kelly Oubre Jr., who had 27 points and five rebounds, Paul George 28, eight rebounds, seven templates and four steals. The Sixers also received seven and nine rebounds with four templates from Andre Drummond.

Here are the player classes according to the loss:

Tyrese Maxey: B

It was encouraging to see how Maxey pulled the Brunson task defensively and was not withdrawn from such a difficult task. He moved his feet well at this end of the floor and was active to stay in front of the New York star. In the end, however, he had his fights because it was not the most efficient night for him. He was more aggressive with his offensive in the second half, but overall he had some problems that converted open looks because New York was quite physical with him. He deserves recognition that he has found a way to find out things and get on the line to get his points. He was unable to convert the route on the line with the game and it cost the Sixers late.

Quentin Grimes: C

The Sixers needed more from Grimes in this, because it was difficult for him to get open looks at the offensive end and he could not keep up with the faster guards on New York on the defensive. He has to deal with the right knee with tendinitis, so you have to ask yourself whether it was holding him back a little or not.

Kelly Oubre Jr.: A-Minus

Oubre was a challenge for Philadelphia with the Sixers who needed someone who put points on the board. In the early driving, he put on quick points, while the Knicks in their defense systems concentrated so much on Maxey and George. At this point, Oubre was constantly on the basket in this case to use its speed, length and sportiness to get into the color and give the Sixers a real offensive production until the others caught in. Overall, he had another nice night and is still a consistent piece for the Sixers.

Paul George: A

In a game in which George’s Sixers needed a few points, he could not deliver early in the game. It was difficult for him to get into a rhythm on the offensive. For his defense, the Knicks had concentrated very much on him and it was difficult for him to find areas on the floor to attack. That changed in the second half when George took over the third quarter. He was much more aggressive and looked for his own offensive instead of fading into the background because he was in the first half. The Sixers need a much more aggressive George over time. The rebounds, assists and steals are beautiful. They are obviously important, but the Sixers need him as a scorer. His contributions in the second half were of crucial importance.

Andre Drummond: B minus

The great man started so that Embbiid still fails. He had some defensive problems again because the Knicks had no problems looking at the basket. He deserves recognition that he helped on the glass because he was present in this department and had some beautiful surfaces around the basket in the offensive end. Overall, there were some failures here and there, but Drummond provided good production in the offensive end.

Justin Edwards: B

On his return from the injury, Edwards looked a bit rusty during his first stay. He was unable to convert the offensive end and was slow at the defensive end. He took it off in the second half and was a key piece in Philadelphia’s rally. He was better defensive and beat in the fourth two big triple.

Adem Bona: D

The initial stay for Bona in this was fulfilled by taking a few fouls when he keeps fighting to find out where it should be to put screens at the offensive end. He was hit with a moving screen foul and then hit Brunson with a defensive foul against Brunson. He still has a lot to learn about the NBA game. Five fouls in 17 minutes are not ideal if it is considered by Philadelphia’s center situation.

Lonnie Walker IV: D.

The initial stay for Walker was a small fight because he had some problems in the defensive end and was unable to open the offensive. He deserves recognition that he put down a hard Fadaway jumper, but he couldn’t do much in this case.

Ricky Council IV: incomplete

In search of a spark, while he already had double -digit digits, the Sixers added the advice and he had some nice defensive games. He entered lanes and helped some sales to create Philadelphia additional possessions. In the second half he saw no look.
