Some Omaha-area companies are working with partners to make finding the perfect Christmas tree easier

Finding the right Christmas tree is an art, and some metropolitan companies are working together to make it easier. Heavy Brewing and Pawnee Pines came together over the weekend to sell trees and drinks. Jeff Gude, co-owner of Heavy Brewing, said the partnership came about through family. His family owned Bennington Pines for years before it was sold and became Pawnee Pines. So it was a worthwhile weekend at the brewery. “Bringing some of that family tradition from Bennington here to Gretna where we “It’s fun for us and of course as a community-oriented brewery it’s great for us to have beer and family time,” Gude said. Finding the right Christmas tree is a challenge, and some metro companies are working together to make it easier.

Heavy Brewing and Pawnee Pines came together over the weekend to sell trees and drinks.

Jeff Gude, co-owner of Heavy Brewing, said the partnership grew out of family.

His family owned Bennington Pines for years before it was sold and became Pawnee Pines.

So it was a worthwhile weekend at the brewery.

“Bringing some of that Bennington family tradition here to Gretna, where we are based. Having fun for ourselves and of course beer and family time is great for us as a community-oriented brewery,” Gude said.

There will be trees for sale at the brewery all weekend, as well as dueling pianos and a diaper sale.
