Southern Miss Basketball teams have moved games because of winter storm Enzo

The Southern Miss Herren basketball team has to wait to play Troy because this week covered parts of the southeastern American American US US weather.

The Golden Eagles were supposed to play against the Trojans on Thursday evening, but after Winter Storm Enzo brought 5.5 inch snow to Troy, Ala, the game was postponed to Monday at 6 p.m. In a publication by Southern Miss Athletics it was found that “travel problems in the region” were still obvious two days after the historical snowfall on Tuesday.

In the meantime, the men’s team plans to travel to Louisiana on Saturday, provided that Lafayette is completely thawed after up to 10 inches were reported on campus. Tipoff is planned for 7 p.m. CT.

As for Lady Eagles, the women’s team also had to change their schedule for the week after she originally planned to travel to James Madison on Thursday evening. Tippoff from Virginia was implemented at 6 p.m. CT on Friday. Her game at Marshall was also pushed on Sunday with a tip time from lunch.

Other teams in College basketball and the NBA had to make similar schedule changes due to the weather, including LSU and New Orleans Pelicans. The unique storm of the generation brought parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida Schneefall.
