Australia forced the follow

And frankly, they would hope for a guided tour of 489 runs. They were far too good for Sri Lanka, whose last five gates disappeared as part of 26 balls.

Wicket! Sri Lanka 165 All Out (Vandersay C Starc B Kuhnemann 4)

Five gates for Matt Kuhnemann! Vandersay chops it up into the cover, where Starc makes a simple catch. Kuhnemann smiles a little and his teammates advise the celebration. 50. About: Sri Lanka 156-7 (Jayasuriya 0, Vandersay 0) There is certainly no doubt that Australia will enforce the following when the time has come. It is not as if they had to give the sailor a break or that they have a risk that they will lose the game with a lead of almost 500.

Wicket! Sri Lanka 156-7 (Chandimal LBW B Lyon 72)

The change in the angle works for Nathan Lyon, who only released Chandimal in tests for the second time. Chandimal missed a reverse sweep and was hit by a nice delivery to the rear thigh, which turned out and turned in the middle.

Chandimally checked, especially because it is the last remaining dough, but it hit leg stump and he is on the way to a powerful 72.

Wicket! Sri Lanka 156-6 (Kusal Mendis C Murphy B Kuhnemann 21)

Kusal Mendis falls into the trap. Australia was happy to hover against the shoot because he knew that he could easily exceed it. This is exactly what happened and Todd Murphy took an excellent run in Deepish Midwicket.

45. About: Sri Lanka 144-5 (Chandimal 67, Kusal Mendis 14) Kuhnemann becomes both bounce and gymnastics and has started very well. Chandimal, surprised by a ball that spits out of the middle stump, can soften his hands and drop it shortly before the field player, which has just been moved to stupid dots.

Nathan Lyon talks to our own Adam Collins

We can’t do anything against the weather. But we poured up here today and there is some sunlight and some heat out of the ground. It will be a challenging morning and an exciting.

We hope that the pitch deteriorates, they expect this on the subcontinent. Hopefully we’ll get a whole day today.

I’ve played against Dinesh (Chandimal) for a long time – he is a class player, isn’t it? Hopefully we can solve further problems for him.

(On Matt Kuhnemann and Todd Murphy) Our preparation was pretty much right. We really enjoyed our time in Dubai. Your boys, you learn, you ask questions. It is a pretty amazing group that can be used to work with.

I have nothing but love for the ground here in Galle. Srilankic culture and people … it is an amazing place for the tour.

Less than ten minutes until the game is resumed. It looks a wonderful sunny day in Galle. There is a little probability of rain this afternoon, but apart from it, the radar looks clear.

Weather permitsThere should be a lot of time for Australia to force victory in this game, almost 200 over. This is approximately a Wicket all 13 over on a field that already offers the spinners a little.

The Ashes test of women is resumed in the MCG. Jonathan Howcroft is on duty for this.

People tomorrow. Should we try again? On the third day in Galle, only 27 overs were possible, but the prediction is much better today and Australia should be able to initiate victory. All things are the same, it should see an endangered tactic: the following.

Sri Lanka is resumed with 136 for 5, a slightly frightening 518 runs, with Dinesh Chandimal to 63 and Kusal Mendis to 10. Expect an early explosion from Mitchell Starc and then a lot of spin.
