STALKER 2: Where to find the best assault rifle

Get an all-around useful assault rifle with this secret location in STALKER 2.

There is a free one Assault rifle just waiting to be picked up STALKERS 2 – and it’s in a place we’ve already talked about. There is something hidden Dnipro assault rifle in the cooling tower region, in which Fire vortex where we found the Weird Nut artifact. There is a path that leads to the top of the cooling tower and collects one of the best weapons in the game. Although the Dnipro is in poor condition, it’s worth repairing – you’ll want to keep this weapon for the rest of the game. Add a few upgrades like a red dot sight and a laser and you’ll never need a gun again.

Location of the Dnipro assault rifle

The Dnipro Assault rifle is in the Cooling towers Region, north of the Concrete factory Area – the Cooling towers is a region within the Chernobyl nuclear power plant yourself. Go to the glowing cooling tower in the northwest corner of the region map.

Outside the cooling tower – labeled with Fire vortex on the map – search the southern edge, look for a tall scaffolding with several ladders. Climb the ladders to reach the top. There is a spatial anomaly here that teleports you to another location.

• NOTE: The ladder is equipped with a grenade trap. Also, you do NOT need to enter the Fire Vortex to get this weapon. It is available on the outside of the cooling tower.

They appear at the top of the cooling tower. Sprint to the end of the walkway to find a hidden supply in the tire Dnipro Assault rifle. There is also a place near the rifle where you can interact sit and enjoy the incredible view into the distance of the nuclear power plant, giving you the best possible view of the southSPEAKER 2 Map.

Why is the Dnipro so good?

The Dnipro is a modern replacement for the AKM-74. It is light (3.72 kg) and practical 5.45×39 Ammunition. For an assault rifle, it has high penetrating power and an extremely high rate of fire. It is a weapon that is useful at any distance and can be customized by a technician.

The Dnipro is an all-round powerful assault rifle with high stats and easy-to-obtain ammunition. The version found on the cooling tower has very little durability, but if you’re willing to invest and have the weapon repaired by a technician, you’ll have one Endgame weapon very early.
