STALKER 2: Where to find the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Easter Egg

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare catapulted the FPS series into the stratosphere and STALKERS 2 is a homage by recreating. Modern warfare This famously sends players into a long flashback in which they explore the abandoned city Pripyat — one of the closed residential areas Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The historical catastrophe is the backdrop for both games, and if you follow the real setting, you can find a hidden Easter egg within STALKERS 2 referring to the big sniper scene in Modern warfare. You won’t get a Barret 50th Cal sniper rifle, but it’s still a pretty awesome reward. Here you will find the Easter egg.

Call of Duty Easter Egg Location

Before we talk about the Easter egg, let’s talk about where to find it. The Easter egg inside STALKERS 2 is located in the Pripyat Region – one of the final locations in the main story. Pripyat is located in the extreme northeast of the map – north of it Red forest and through Yaniv station.

  • Easter egg location: In Pripyat, go to the marked area Polissya Hotel. It is a large hotel in the north of the city on the large square where the Enerhetyk Culture Palace is located.
  • Go to Roof of the hotel find one M701 Super Sniper rifle on a table with two boxes of ammunition. This is the same place where Captain McMillan shoots the renegade Russian general Zakhaev Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The sniper rifle is different but the location is the same. Chernobyl plays an important role in two missions Modern warfareAll in ghillie formAnd One shot, one kill. In the second mission, the pair of snipers shoot their target while fighting with the wind speed Barret 50th Cal sniper rifle. Unfortunately, you won’t find such a heavy weapon in there STALKERS 2but you still get one of the better sniper rifles in the game at this location.

Normally the path through Yaniv Station is blocked until you progress in the story. However, if you look carefully west of the settlement, there are ways to jump over the trains and get to the other side. The Pripyat region is extremely dangerous. Therefore, bring enough medical equipment and bandages with you before attempting to obtain this equipment. The Polissya Hotel is also an absolute nightmare – you have to deal with swarms of zombies multiple hidden controllers This can attack you just for being near her. They are hiding on one of the many, many floors of the legendary hotel. At night there is also the possibility of encountering bloodsuckers.

The hotel itself is extremely dangerous, so save before entering. I don’t recommend hunting down the enemies. Inject yourself with Psi Block and sprint to the roof. Grab the gun and ammo, then sprint back down and escape. You have to constantly use medkits just to survive the constant psionic damage you take from even being in the hotel.

This is just one of the Easter eggs we found in STALKER 2 – in a game that’s so difficult to explore, we don’t imagine you’ll want to specifically look for silly references. The best part about this Easter egg is that you don’t need the reference. This is a perfect place for a sniper rifle and it’s definitely a great reward. It also recreates one of the most memorable missions from a much less hardcore FPS.
