Stamp your passport for Chattanooga’s first Make Music Winter

Does anyone have a musical Advent calendar? Make Music Chattanooga launches a second event for lovers of our local entertainment scene – Make music in winterwhich gives us 21 days of events starting Sunday, December 1st.

Organizer and local songwriter Janelle Malone-Drake said the international brand of Make Music Day usually does a Summer event (June 21st) and winter event (December 21st). While Chattanooga has never made a winter version, according to one Record yearthey wanted to create another way to highlight local artists and venues.

“There are just certain things that bring the city to life, and music is one of those things,” Malone-Drake said. “Our goal is to celebrate these people while providing something fun for the community.”

This event is really about “going at your own pace” – once you open it CHA Music Pass In the app you can view a map and a list of stops that you can use at any time.

Pro tip: The app does not require downloading, but you can bookmark it to your device’s home screen for easier access.

Make Music Winter is a perfect event to entertain your guests while they are in the scenic town this holiday season.
