Statewide trout stocking highlights for December 2024

Dick Knox Pond – 420 rainbow trout

Located south of the corner of West Sales Yard and Airport Road in Emmett, this pond offers anglers the opportunity to pursue a wide variety of fish species. The pond’s amenities include five floating docks – one of which is wheelchair accessible, two restrooms, a boat dock and ample parking.

Marsing Pond – 270 rainbow trout

This pond is located on State Highway 55 below the Snake River bridge.

Riverside pond – 270 rainbow trout

It is a quiet neighborhood pond right on the Boise Greenbelt. Tucked away in the trees on Glenwood Road, it offers good bank fishing and a large fishing pier.

Sawyer’s Pond – 180 rainbow trout

This pond complex offers many fishing opportunities. Anglers can launch small boats to access a number of ponds of varying sizes. Numerous docks and coastal access provide great fishing opportunities.
