Steph Curry made NBA history in the Warriors-Rockets game

On Wednesday evening the Golden State Warriors will play in Texas (NBA Cup) against the Houston Rockets.

In the first quarter, two-time MVP Steph Curry made NBA history by passing Jerry West (6,238) for 36th all-time assists list.

After West, Curry will be the next player to pass Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (6,285).

Curry entered the night averaging 23.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 45.0% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc in 18 games Three-point range shot.

The Warriors are coming off a 114-106 victory at home over the Minnesota Timberwolves (on Sunday).

Curry led the way with 30 points, four rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 8/18 from the field and 5/11 from three-point range in 35 minutes of play.

With a record of 14:9, they entered the game as the fifth seeded team in the Western Conference.

The winner of the game will travel to Las Vegas to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.

Based on recent history, the Warriors have excellent chances for promotion.
