Stephen Colbert finds out the “only safe job” in Trump’s economy

Thanks to Donald Trump’s tariffs, the CEOs predict upcoming job losses across the country. However, Stephen Colbert may have found the “only safe job” that a person can have during this time.

In order to start his monologue on Monday evening, the CBS host first welcomed the audience to Trump’s “Golden Age” because the president refers to it. In this case, of course, Colbert offered another interpretation of the “golden age”.

“With Golden he said Golden Shower because it really feels like he was peeing on our leg and telling us that it is freed,” he joked.

But that made the nationwide protests over the weekend for Colbert all the more exciting (especially with regard to the signs that people have made for these protests).

Nevertheless, he was worried that the immense amount of money was lost thanks to Trump’s tariffs, which was when Colbert joked: “Today she pushed a staircase down.” However, he managed to find a silver strip.

“It turns out that in Trump’s economy is the only safe job that takes photos of panicked stock exchange brokers,” joked the comedian.

The host searched and pulled up some of his favorites, including “Johnny Head-In-Hands”, “An old-fashioned God — and one very Angry Man, from which Colbert had predicted, would be “the new face of the 100 dollar bill”.
