Stewart achieves the first top fuel win; Prock, Glenn, also beat the jackpot in Las Vegas

The racing legend Tony Stewart won his first career-nohra top win of the top top fuel on Sunday on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and defeated a quad to which the reigning world champion Antron Brown, Jasmine Salinas and Justin Ashley belonged to the 25th annual NHRA 4-wide Nationale.

Austin Prock (Funny Car) and Dallas Glenn (per stock) also won the fourth of 20 races during the season of the Nhra Mission Foods Drag Racing Series 2025.

Stewart went in his 11,000-horsepower Rayce Rudeen Foundation Dodge // SRT Dragster to hold Brown on the finish line for 3.870 seconds at 317.42 miles per hour. The former world champion of the Nascar and Indycar ranks won the honors of Nhra Rookie of the Year a year ago and then went into the last round in Pomona two weeks ago before he drove to victory in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The team had played well early in the season and then contributed to it in Las Vegas, qualified fifth and then won both first two quads on holeshots. He quickly felt Ashley and then Salinas and came shortly before the finish line at Brown to win an unforgettable victory. He has now won on every route on the property on the strip on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Stewart was certainly enthusiastic about the result of Sunday.

“It is unreal. I was not in an NHRA for so long and I realize that it takes a long time to win a race in this series, but I never had to wait for a year to win a race. I always found it out in the first year, and some normal, so I was very grateful for this victory,” said Stewart.

“Last year was so stressful after Leah (Pruett, Woman) had almost won a world championship, and I was in the car last year, and people think in the stands, I am the reason why the car was shit.

“I think, probably the only thing that doesn’t go so much at the moment, but when Leah (son) cathedral brought the stage onto the stage, it is an emotion that you didn’t even think or dreamed of. When I climbed it up with him, my heart stopped.

Brown was the second place with 3.912 at 302.35 in the last round. Stewart rose to the second point with the historical victory, while Shawn Langdon remained as the leader in the category.

Austin Prock

The defending champion of Funny Car World Champ, Austin Prock, returned to the championship form in Las Vegas on Sunday and won his first win of the season with a run of 4.009 at 316.01 in his 11,000 hp-cornwell tools Chevrolet SS to stop a quad with Runner, Matt Hagan and Dave Richards.

Prock dominated in Las Vegas in autumn to achieve all of his first World Cup, but the team made big changes in the car in the off -season. It was a fight to open the year and fell in the opening round in Gainesville, but the team was slowly gaining dynamics and was completed by a sterling performance in Vegas. He made the fastest race in elimination, which was 322.88 at 322.88 in an impressive semi -finals and then ended with another great run in the championship round.

“We didn’t have the success we had last year, but we are still the same team,” said Prock. “We always expect that we will appear and win. We want every round and we want to win every race. If we don’t, it is difficult to keep your head up when things are not going properly, especially if your expectations are so high. So so that we can all get together.

“It feels really good, man. In Gainesville it was simply not a great weekend and after a good weekend in Phoenix we fought only in Pomona, but we just couldn’t put everything together.

Thanks to its run from 4.042, Lee became a second place at 311.77. It is his second round of the year when he also jumped into the points. Prock became third in points after winning in Las Vegas for the second time.

Dallas Glenn

In per floor, Las Vegas is still very good to see Dallas Glenn, because he contained 6.649 with 6.649 at 206.83 in his wheel torque system Chevrolet Camaro against a final with Greg Anderson, Matt Hartford and Matt Latino to win for the second time this season. It is also his third victory on the strip on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, when Glenn used a strong response time of 0.030 to hold Hartford, which took second place with 6.638 at 205.85.

It is the 15th career victory for Glenn and its third four-time victory when Glenn finished second in the opening quad before winning the second round quad with a run of 6.636 at 206.32. He was every last round this season and continued his hot start to the 2025 campaign, which developed very well for Glenn, a former Nhra rookie of the year, which was second to Anderson a year ago.

“I am really thrilled. Today was a very interesting day, I almost completely blown it in the first round. I staged and when I fired the car, my nose began to bleed, so I dealt with the car in the car,” said Glenn. “That was a problem.

“I don’t know what I was looking at, but I haven’t seen Lane two stages and only went down in front of the tree in the two steps. I was very late, just dead and was lucky with the horsepower to win the victory.

“Then I go to the final and made sure that I held it and probably had a little too hard. Greg was on the way to earning his next until the lucky series ended. But you know it’s a good day. The car works great.

Hartford recorded his first second place in the season and also won his quad in the second round. Anderson will remain in the points after four races, with Glenn has had in second place.
