Stewart achieves the first top fuel win; Prock, Glenn, also beat the jackpot in Las Vegas

The racing legend Tony Stewart won his first career-nohra top win of the top top fuel on Sunday on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and defeated a quad to which the reigning world champion Antron Brown, Jasmine Salinas and Justin Ashley belonged to the 25th annual NHRA 4-wide Nationale.

Austin Prock (Funny Car) and Dallas Glenn (per stock) also won the fourth of 20 races during the season of the Nhra Mission Foods Drag Racing Series 2025.

Stewart went in his 11,000-horsepower Rayce Rudeen Foundation Dodge // SRT Dragster to hold Brown on the finish line for 3.870 seconds at 317.42 miles per hour. The former world champion of the Nascar and Indycar ranks won the honors of Nhra Rookie of the Year a year ago and then went into the last round in Pomona two weeks ago before he drove to victory in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The team had played well early in the season and then contributed to it in Las Vegas, qualified fifth and then won both first two quads on holeshots. “It is unreal. I was not in an NHRA for so long and I realize that it takes a long time to win a race in this series, but I never had to wait for a year to win a race. I always found it out in the first year, and some normal, so I was very grateful for this victory,” said Stewart.

“Last year was so stressful after Leah (Pruett, Woman) had almost won a world championship, and I was in the car last year, and people think in the stands, I am the reason why the car was shit.

Prock dominated in Las Vegas in autumn to achieve all of his first World Cup, but the team made big changes in the car in the off -season. It was a fight to open the year and fell in the opening round in Gainesville, but the team was slowly gaining dynamics and was completed by a sterling performance in Vegas. The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series returns from April 25th to 27th with the 15th annual NHRA-4-wide Nationals in Zmax Dragway in Charlotte.
