Strong to heavy storms awaits late Sunday tonight until late

Huntsville, ala. (Waff) – Good Saturday morning. Today is a 48 first watchful weather day for the threat of strong to heavy thunderstorms that arrive late in the early Sunday morning.

The temperatures this morning start a warmer grade in the 40s up to lower 50s under a cloudy sky. For all counties Nordalabama and Middle Tennessee, wind advice applies until Sunday at noon. Persistent winds from the south between 10 and 20 miles per hour with forecast wind gusts of up to 35 miles per hour. The cloud cover remains with us for the day and high temperatures are heated to the middle to upper 1960s by the afternoon. A few isolated showers are possible through the morning and afternoon, but the heaviest precipitation lasts until late in the evening and at night.

We will pursue a number of strong to heavy thunderstorms that move to the east to the east in Tennessee Valley in the late evening. For those in the northwest of Alabama, storms can arrive at 9:00 p.m. and the severe threat will be followed in the east. This striker line can be able to generate more than 50 miles per hour straight line winch, locally strong precipitation and small hail. In the atmosphere there is enough rotation or scissors this evening to create a risk of spin-up tornados. Rainfall with this striker line will probably be within reach of one to two inches. Due to the strong rainfall that we have seen recently, it will be a problem again. This is a unnotitive threat overnight. The storm threat ends early Sunday morning for the northeast Alabama and the morning temperatures begin in the 40s. The sky should remain cloudy for the day on Sunday with windy conditions and falling temperatures. Next week there will also be significant changes, since the temperatures on Monday and Tuesday are only in the mid -1940s for heights.
