Sun is around the corner; But first more rain for Southland

Parts of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties can expect on Thursday April show before the temperatures warm for a sunny weekend.

According to the National Weather Service meteorologist Bryan Lewis, in the eastern parts of Ventura County on Wednesday afternoon in Ventura County, and in the valleys and mountains of Los Angeles County on Wednesday afternoon.

The storm clouds in the region have a slight chance of thunderstorms, he said.

The precipitation will be easy, and it will no longer be more than about a quarter inches on Thursday, said Lewis.

For other parts of the Los Angeles basin, including downtown Los Angeles, Inglewood and Downey, the probability of rain of around 10% to 20% will be much lower, said Lewis with temperatures in the low until the mid-1960s.

It is not expected that the rainfall endanger landslides in the areas that are sunk through the palisades and Eaton fires in January.

Lewis predicted that the storm clouds will dissolve on Saturday to make room for a “good, dry warming trend”, with the temperatures in the valleys in the mid -1970s and low 80s. It is expected that the temperatures in the high 60s will remain cooler on the beaches.

But the thermometer will continue to go to Sunday if most areas of the Los Angeles district could reach the low 80s, he said.

The short rainstorm only comes days after the state officials announced that the state’s snow packaging had reached 96% of the average on April 1, when the snow season normally reached its peak.

The almost average blanket of snow means that the state is expected to record a third year in a row in the mountains in a row-etwas, which has not happened for a quarter of a century.
