Swifties camp out at the Lakeland Target to score limited-edition Taylor Swift records and books

LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) – Swifties in Lakeland headed out on Black Friday to score exclusive Taylor Swift products, including her CD and book.

Fans began arriving at the store at 3 a.m. to check out the pop star’s exclusive line and get a behind-the-scenes look at her legendary tour.

A Target employee told customers that their store had 634 “The Eras” tour books, 138 “Anthology” CDs and 80 “Anthology” vinyls.

Due to high demand, the store has set a limit of four people per person.

According to Target, the 256-page “The Eras Tour Book” contains more than 500 images from the global tour, including never-before-seen performance photos. It also includes Swift’s personal reflections and images of designer sketches, stage pieces and costumes.

The website states that the retail price of the book is $39.99.

The “Anthology” CDs now sell for $17.99 and the vinyl CD for $59.99.

According to Target, the vinyl and CDs contain 35 tracks, including four acoustic bonus songs, four marbled translucent vinyl discs and a never-before-seen 12″ x 12″ poster.

“Was able to secure the goods,” the TikTok user said. “I was fifth in line this morning.”

The TikTok user added that Taylor Swift’s record sold out in minutes at her location.

Several people commented on the video saying that their Target locations still had a lot of inventory despite showing up in the late morning or early afternoon.

Taylor Swift began “The Eras Tour” on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona and ends on December 8 in Vancouver, Canada.
