Syracuse teen accused of shooting at occupied car – Finger Lakes Daily News

A Syracuse teenager was arrested after he allegedly shot at a car parked in a driveway in the Onondaga County town of Nedrow.

Witnesses described the car from the area where the shot was fired, leading officers to locate the car in Otisco. Four people were in the car when it was stopped, and an investigation by the Onondaga Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit revealed that 18-year-old Jeremiah Young fired one shot at the car, which was occupied at the time.

Young was arrested two days later and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a firearm.

Young is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
