TCU Star Hailey van Lith begins through the journey of mental health

Van Lith shared her experiences with media and social media exposure at a young age and revealed that this had significantly influenced her mental health. “When I was younger and in college, I fought with suicide thoughts and was very medically,” she said. “I felt trapped and they never guessed it because I had thrown on the pitch. But internally I was ready to give up in my life as a whole.”

Van Lith won the Big 12 Conference Player of the Year and the Newcomer of the Year Awards after moving to the TCU to their fifth and last college year. She changed from the LSU after spending three seasons in Louisville, where she appeared in the elite eight and the final Four. Van Lith achieved an average of 17.7 points and 5.5 templates per game with the horns.
