Tennis Prodigy Carlos Alcaraz did waves in the tennis world, and despite the latest setbacks, Guru Rick Macci’s coach is of the opinion that a change from the coaching team is not the answer. The young Spanish star started his 2025 season with a quarter -finals at the Australian Open, followed by a title victory at the Rotterdam Open. Unexpected defeats in Doha and Indian Wells, however, raised questions about his performance together with an early exit in Miami Open.

Macci, an experienced trainer who worked with legends like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova, Schnell Schnell made all the suggestions that Alcaraz from his current coach Juan Carlos Ferrero took part. In response to inquiries about a potential coaching switch for Alcaraz, Macci bravely explained: “Everyone in tennis who thinks that this should accommodate Golf.”

The American coach emphasized that the grass may seem greener on the other hand, but it could also be slippery.
