“That’s the question for everyone else:” Aaron Taylor-Johnson hints at the showdown between Kraven the Hunter and Spider-Man

Kraven the Hunter is next Spider-Man Villain coming to the big screen in a solo project. However, Aaron Taylor-Johnson wants his titular character to cross paths with the famous Marvel hero at some point.




I mean, that’s actually the question everyone else has to ask, right?Taylor-Johnson told Screen Rant when asked if the comic book enemies will have to compete against each other to bring the upcoming film together. “Because I think what we did… What we’ve built in this story is a really rich character who definitely has what it takes to go on and do more damage. I think he should compete with some superheroes we knowhe added, without specifically mentioning Spider-Man.

Taylor-Johnson also revealed which comic book arc he kept referring to while preparing for the film. “One of my favorite stories is Kraven’s Last Hunt” said the actor. “It was one of the raw materials I always came back from.” He has some dark demons there, and we basically show the creation of those demons and how he becomes a villain that we then get to know.”



Taylor-Johnson hopes fans will see the film

The actor continued to express his hopes for the film and encouraged fans to watch it. “So come and really watch this movie, man. Come and watch this filmTaylor-Johnson added. “I I promise you it won’t disappoint. It has all the beats you want and more. I think it could be kind of a villain favorite with the audience(and he should) definitely be on par with some other people down the line, man.

Kraven the Hunter is described as a “standalone story about how one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be.” The film follows Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father Nikolai Kravinoff leads him on a path of revenge with brutal consequenceswhich motivated him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of the most feared.

Director JC Chandor has also urged fans to watch the film despite the shortcomings of other Sony projects like Spider-Man Universe. Morbius And Madam Web. “People need to give us a chance and support this movie and literally try to wash away some of the other things that happened” he said. “I think they’ll realize we did everything we could to give them a pretty fun story.”

Sony gave fans an eight-minute sneak peek of the film, which also included a message from Taylor-Johnson. But fans on social media reacted negatively to the video. Some said the extended clip was a desperate attempt to sell tickets. “I may be in the minority, but I hate it when movies do this,” one person wrote on X.

Kraven the Hunter hits theaters worldwide on December 13th.
