I usually try to make breakfast for my family myself, but no matter how good my intentions are, some mornings get pretty hectic. Since my 14-year-old son started high school this fall, they’ve been busier than usual.

This is where ALDI comes into play. From breakfast sausages to frozen protein waffles, I always find something my son and I can eat on the go. And right now, ALDI has one of our all-time favorite breakfasts on sale: Breakfast Best Protein Cinnamon French Toast Sticks.

<h2>What I love about ALDI’s Protein Cinnamon French Toast Sticks</h2>
<p>Since I discovered these in the ALDI freezer, this seasonal offering has become a breakfast ritual in our house. A 1-pound box of French toast sticks costs $4.49, or just over a dollar per serving. Even for a teenager who eats one and a half to two servings at a time, this is such a bargain that I buy two packs at once.</p>
<p>These French toast sticks are made with whole wheat flour, eggs and whey protein and have a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on the outside. They are so good – slightly sweet and cinnamony, with a great French toast texture. I don’t even think they need maple syrup, but my son likes to drown his in maple syrup, Nutella, or jam.</p>
<h2>This is how I prepare the Protein Cinnamon French Toast Sticks from ALDI</h2>
<p>I usually microwave them for about a minute, but in my air fryer they cook in three or four minutes, which makes them a little crispier on the outside and even better for dipping in your sauce of choice.</p>
<p>While they’re perfect for weekday mornings, my son thinks they make a great snack after school and before volleyball and gymnastics. They also make a great “breakfast for dinner” option.</p>
<p>I usually serve them as is because they’re convenient, but they taste so good that they make a great base for a Monte Cristo breakfast casserole or a berry and chocolate French toast casserole.</p>
