“MHRD’s funding comes at a critical time,” said Kim Scorza, CEO of the Crittenton Center. “We have identified a growing need to provide dedicated resources for our ‘little ones’ and this grant will have a direct impact on our ability to provide them with a caring and supportive environment. We are deeply grateful to the MHRD and the nomination of Gary Niles for recognizing the importance of this work and stepping up to support it during the holiday season.”

In addition to curriculum and therapeutic materials, funds will also be used to purchase basic supplies to ensure every child has access to the necessities they need for a stable and comfortable stay at the shelter.
