I was wondering how much it costs to have an electric vehicle charging station in a house and now I have an idea…

A woman named Ruby posted a video on TikTok talking to viewers about what her electric bill looks like after setting up an electric car station in her home to charge her two Teslas.

Ruby said: “We drive around 80 to 100 miles a day so we charged straight away at home. We only charged between 9pm and 8am.”

She added: “This is off-peak and we have solar panels on our house and we have two chargers installed so it uses a lot of electricity every night.”

Ruby told viewers her energy bill is now $130 a month.
