For one of my neighbors, it is associated with this tax refund to do new brakes. She is able to do your taxes for free and I will show you how some of my other neighbors can do.

Meet Eaton Rapid’s neighbor Megan Crawford. She tells me that she paid $ 800 last week to get new brakes.

“Repairs are not cheap on any vehicle that I drive. Unfortunately, a truck repairs a little more,” said Megan Crawford, based in Eaton Rapids.

And just like most of my neighbors in relation to the car costs, most can also refer to the submission and payment of taxes. In this sense, the Eaton Rapids Library will offer the so -called VITA program. This is short for the support of the volunteer tax.

“Free tax preparation services for households that earn up to $ 67,000,” said Bryonna Barton, director of the Eaton Rapids Library.

And as a mother, she qualifies for the federal tax credit for children of USD 2,000 per year. And with the Vita program, she receives free help to make sure that she sees this money.

“2,000 US dollars can be a repair of homes,” said Megan Crawford, Eaton Rapids.

The Vita program starts in the Eaton Rapids Library this Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2. There will be another session every month until April. Here is the link to the application.
