You can find the complete statement from the falling Knife Brewery Company below.

With the heaviest hearts we share some terrible and unexpected news. Our friend, our Chief Brewing Officer and the owner Tom Berg in his house, died over the weekend. We are destroyed in order to lose our dear friend, the visionary architect of what falls knives and a guiding force in what we are and do.

There was no one who is more passionate when it falls, knives, beer and his friends. When they came across him during a Wolves game in the barn, in a show in which he celebrated his love for music, or at one of his favorite places in the city, they were immediately involved in his warm personality when he greeted them like his closest friends. Regardless of whether his lifelong work in the music scene in Minneapolis, his passion for the Minnesota Beer -Community overall or only in the world, it felt like every tom. And knowing Tom should be loved by him.

We close the evening to mourn this monumental loss. We will pass on information for a larger meeting when we speak to Tom’s family and respect your wishes to honor him. Take care of you and each other.
