The former Auburn coach trolled the Tigers on Monday

Bryan Harsin’s departure from the Auburn Tigers was an ugly divorce for both parties involved. With rumors of Harsin’s infidelity and an obvious disdain for the program he coached, the departure couldn’t come soon enough for Harsin and the Tigers.

All season long, Harsin has trolled the Tigers on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. Auburn’s 28-14 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide gave Harsin a great post the Monday after the Iron Bowl, a game in which Harsin went 0-1 before being fired a month before the 2022 Iron Bowl .

Harsin delivered on Monday morning.

There are a handful of takeaways from Harsin’s post-Iron Bowl post.

First is the Bible verse James 5:7 which preaches patience,

“Be patient now, brothers, until the Lord comes. “See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, handling it patiently until the early and latter rains come,” James 5:7 ESV.

Auburn fans are known for their lack of patience with head coaches, particularly Harsin’s tenure with the Auburn Tigers.

However, the verse comes from more than that. The fifth chapter of the book of James and the seventh verse or 5:7. Auburn’s record in 2024? 5-7.

The icing on the cake, however, is the reflection of the window in front of which Harsin stands.

Harsin appears to be wearing a “LANK” shirt in his post, the “Let All Naysayers Know” mantra that Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide have carried for two seasons. It was a mantra that began after Alabama’s sloppy 17-3 win over USF in 2023.

It probably infuriates Auburn fans and boosters to know that some of the $15.3 million they paid Harsin not to coach the Tigers is going to the Alabama NIL collective. Proceeds from the LANK shirt will go to the Crimson Tide’s NIL Fund and Jalen Milroe, co-founder of the LANK merch line.
