The former striker of Edmonton Oilers, Patrick Maroon, will retire at the end of the season

The end of the street is near the former striker by Edmonton Oilers and the fan, Patrick Maroon.

The 36-year-old Chicago Blackhawks striker said to Darren Pang this afternoon that he planned to retire at the end of the season. In 59 games he scored four goals and 16 points while scored 81 minutes of penalty.

“It’s hard,” said an emotional chestnut industry. “Sometimes you have to give up everything you know and everything you dreamed of your life. I only know that it is time for me to start a new chapter in our life. Tonight to have a special moment in St. Louis and bring my family to the city. I have won a Stanley Cup here.

“I will only be ready this year as if every game would be my last game. I will play as hard as possible and do everything to continue to win hockey (games). That is all I know. It’s hard.”

Maroon started his career at the Anaheim Ducks before he was acquired by the Oilers in the 2015/16 season. It was with the Oilers in which his career really started to start.

Maroon played in an Oilers team that lacked a lack of wingers and had the opportunity to play alongside Connor McDavid. It paid off both for himself and for the oilers, as he scored 27 goals and helped to achieve the 11-year-old playoff dürre of the Oilers.

The following season Maroon was traded to the New Jersey Devils before signing the blues as a free agent. This started an epic run for himself when he won a trophy with the blues in the same season before winning the next two seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The man, who is known as the “The Big Rig”, had an extremely impressive career for a selection in the sixth round and scored 125 goals and 320 points in 839 regular season games, which were divided between the Ducks, Oilers, Devils, Blues, Lightning, Minnesota Wild, Boston Bruins and Blackhawks.
