The girl’s girl’s football is on the advance in Idaho

Boise, Idaho – Flag football; It is a sport that has gained popularity in recent years, especially in women and girls like 8th grade Megan and Audrielle.

“It’s really inspiring, it’s fun to see other girls. You learn a bit from you,” said Audrielle.

“Because I’m a quarterback, it’s really fun to be a leader for my team,” said Megan.

The optimistic youth football clinic organized over 150 girls aged 7 to 17 on Saturday, more than twice as high as the amount they had last year. Some athletes returned to the field while others just started.

“This really makes me be more competitive, preparing myself to be with my team and leading them to victory,” said Megan.

Food work, throwing, catching and of course flag -education techniques were part of the clinic.

“You have to be loyal to the technology in Flag football, you can’t touch it, so you have to be quickly out of your breaks, quickly on your feet, I would say that is a pretty big difference,” said Laneah Bryan.

Laneah Bryan is a defender of the US National Flag football team. She helped train the girls how many of them played for the first time.

“You can see the difference immediately and see your face and your reaction to this improvement … We are here for that,” said Bryan.

The sport gains so much in popularity that it will be played in Los Angeles at the 2028 Olympics in 2028 and that women’s football brings women to the highest sports level in the world.

“Many things are possible in this sport, and it is endless at this point, especially when the Olympic Games are,” said Bryan.

Like Laneah Bryan, the girls of the middle school say that they are happy that they have discovered Flag football, and they are thrilled to pave the way for future athletes.

“(Now) I’m the inspiration,” said Audrielle.

“Many other younger girls (now) have the opportunity to start playing,” said Megan.
