The house of a family was torn through storms on Sunday evening, now they take care of more

St. Clair Township, Ohio – the Linda Mobile Home Park in Hamilton, Ohio, was beaten up by intensive winds and storms on Sunday evening, which broke off from many houses and moved others from their foundations.

“As soon as I stopped here, I started crying. How old I can’t believe that this happens,” said the resident of Shawn Simpson.

Simpson lives in the house with his 5-year-old daughter Bella, but now they had to find protection elsewhere. Simpson said he had to sleep in his car on Sunday evening and his daughter stayed with his parents.

“Hopefully everything will work,” said Simpson.

When WCPO 9 visited the neighborhood on Wednesday, Simpson worked on his house to prepare for another storms in the late evening and overnight.

“Today I went around and put ash -blocks in the corners and the outside on which it is not to stabilize it to have prepared it tonight. Because I have heard different stories about what will happen. Well, we don’t know what will happen, it is mother nature, it is not predictable,” said Simpson.

Other supply companies, including Duke Energy and Contractors, also worked on repairs in Mobile Home Park on Wednesday.
