The Field Sales Manager is responsible for achieving all volume and sales goals for the portfolio across all commercial channels, including creating, managing and participating in promotional events, tasting events and other large events in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.

  • Required to create, manage and participate in promotional events, tasting events and other large events representing Long Drink
  • Assist in the development and implementation of an annual operating plan that includes financial, volume and sales goals
  • Responsible for building and managing relationships with distributor field teams and motivating them to achieve goals and objectives
  • Manage general market exhaustion, sales and viewing goals outside of the channel
  • Manage the execution of ads in the chain channel
  • Manage depletion, distribution, and features in the on-premise channel.
  • Manage the onboarding of all new accounts
  • Manage the POS and ensure merchandising goals are achieved in collaboration with the retailer’s field sales team
  • Introduce creative sales execution concepts, share them across state lines/regions when successful, and strive to be a leader in better practices
  • Maintain a functioning key account list and build key account relationships within assigned territory
  • Assist state leaders in managing allocated budgets, including incentives, branded merchandise, and other department expenditures.
  • Ensure all sales practices comply with state and company policies/laws
  • Refrigerator maintenance
  • Must live in New Hampshire
  • Must have 3-5 or more years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry with knowledge and passion for both commercial and premium retail products
  • You must be willing to work nights and weekends
  • Travel to three states between New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine is required
  • Position requires flexibility for overnight travel
  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Well organized with the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Results-oriented, innovative, strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work and succeed in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  • You must be able to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Lilypad and Ramp desirable

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience, skills and qualifications. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings options, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
