Seattle, Wash. – Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President and General Manager for Baseball operations Justin Hollander Today the Mariners announced Cal Raleigh For a 6-year contract in the 2030 season with an option for the Vesting players for 2031.

Raleigh (RAH-LEE), 28, has arrived in his first four seasons with the Mariners as one of the best all-round catchers in the Major League baseball. In 2024, Raleigh scored 34 Home Runs and 100 RBI, which Rawlings The American Gold Glove Award and Al Platinum Glove Award as the best defensive player in the league.

Raleigh led the Major League Catchers in three consecutive seasons at the Homeruns and reached 27, 30 and 34 Homer in the last three seasons. He is the first catcher since Hall of Famer Mike Piazza. He was the fourth player in MLB history and started Hall of Famer Eddie Murray, Ken Caminiti and Jeff Davanon.

In four seasons, Raleighs 93 career -Home -Runs are most Homer, which a catcher met in the first four seasons of a player in MLB history. The 93 Homer are also a Mariner’s player in their first four career games and exceed the 92 homes of Mr. Mariner Alvin Davis from 1984 to 1987.

On September 30, 2022, Raleigh engraved its name in Mariners’ deliveries when his prise home run for Seattle, his first playoff place since 2001, entered into a post-season place.

The 6-foot-2, 235 pound bakery stop was originally selected by the Mariners in the MLB player in the first year 2018 from Florida State University, celebrating his Big League debut on July 11, 2021. Raleigh is the son of Stephanie and Todd Raleigh. Todd was chief baseball coach at Western Carolina University (2000–07) and the University of Tennessee (2008–11).
