The “Most Beautiful Taco Bell in the World” in Pacifica is temporarily closed

The Taco Bell Cantina in Pacifica is often called the “prettiest” or “prettiest” fast food joint because of its beachfront location, but now the place might just get even nicer. As of Sunday, January 5, this Taco Bell location will be temporarily closed for two weeks for renovations, KRON reports. The company’s general manager, James Aman, announced the news in a Facebook post, sharing a photo of a giant “Closed for Remodeling” sign above the restaurant’s doors. It’s not entirely clear when exactly the restaurant will reopen or what work will be done, but let’s hope the walk-up window remains untouched.

An extremely chic donut shop opens in San Francisco

Donuts are perfect in all shapes and forms, whether from the grocery store or a mom-and-pop shop, but a new store emerging in San Francisco looks like it was brought from Europe and housed in the West Portal. George’s Donuts and Merriment will open at 163 West Portal Avenue on Friday, January 10, under the direction of pastry chef Janina O’Leary. Expect donuts of all kinds, including brioche, crullers, cakes and filled donuts – including a donut hole flight – as well as sandwiches and salads to round out the menu.

Trick Dog releases its 22nd drink menu

The cocktail geniuses at the award-winning Trick Dog are back with their twice-yearly changing menu, and like the menus before it, it’s looking good. Starting Tuesday, January 7, you can look forward to the Cirque Du Trick Dog menu, which includes the usual balanced cocktails and low- or no-alcohol drinks named after circus performers such as the Lion Tamer and the Contortionist. And while you’re at it, say happy birthday to the team – the bar turns 12 this month.
