The Packers secure their place in the playoffs with a comfortable victory over the Saints on Monday evening

Despite having 11 wins, already two more than the 2023 regular season, and a chance to match LaFleur’s win total of 13 each from his first three seasons as coach, the Packers’ playoff journey is guaranteed to be a road warrior again.

The NFC North has proven to be a slugfest. Green Bay is currently third in the division behind the 13-2 Lions and 13-2 Vikings, who are locked in a battle with the 12-3 Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC’s No. 1 seed. All four of Green Bay’s losses came against these three teams, with two losses coming against Detroit.

The Packers were flawless against everyone else and showed excellent balance all year long. Green Bay started this week’s games on pace, finishing with its offense and defense both finishing in the top 10 in scoring for the first time since the 2010 season, which culminated in the team’s recent Super Bowl victory.

Achieving this result is still a long way off, even with a playoff trip secured.

The Packers still have division games against the Vikings and Bears on the schedule to decide seeding.

After that, reaching the Super Bowl will likely require elimination at least One of Green Bay’s roster couldn’t figure it out earlier this year.
