The popular destination of Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL design could fall out of the first round

Cincinnati – Jihaad Campbell is one of the top defensive players in this year’s design class. It is the No. 1 Ranged LineBacker and has been a popular name among Bengal fans in the past few weeks.

Could he fall out of the first round?

Campbell was not included in Mike Florio’s Mock Draft for Pro Football Talk. Nothing could be … or it could be a sign that some teams have concerns about their medicine.

The former Alabama star is expected to be released before the training camp after shoulder surgery in this low season. It is unclear whether he is therefore getting into some mocke.

Campbell fell on the Eagles in 32th place in Daniel Jeremiah’s last bill. He is 12th in Jeremiah’s general board.

If the Bengals do not project long -term problems with his health, it is difficult to imagine a scenario in which he is not at the top of her board in 17th place.

“Campbell is a big, rangy and explosive Linebacker. He was recruited as Edge -rusher to Alabama, but initially changed on the edges because of the depth of the crimson tide (see: wants Anderson Jr. and Dallas Turner),” wrote Jeremiah. “Last season he played both of the ball and on the side. As an off-ball linacker, he has no elite instincts, but offers an excellent speed and physicality. He can draw the sideline to move and the ability to lift blockers and collect tackles in the inner runs. And positions himself on the ball.

A playmaker in the middle of the defense of the Bengals you can build would be huge for the future of the team. Campbell has rare skills and Cincinnati could form a defensive identity around it in 2025 and beyond.
