The PS5 stutter problem is real, and the players are still asking Sony months later for a fix

Extensive tests have confirmed the existence of a persistent PS5 stuttering problem when using the variable update rate of the console. The problem will only be obvious to players to use the high-end TVs who offer VRR support at all, but these are the most demanding players in the Sony and you have been asking for a solution for months.

Usually television and monitors run at 60 Hz. If a game is played at 60 fps, you get every time the screen is updated – or exactly one frame for two updates if the game is carried out with 30 fps. If a game deviates from this target formation rate, it can look choppy on a conventional 60 Hz display and look stuttered. (See: most of software games.)
