The Rams haven’t won a Monday night game since the ’21 season

The Los Angeles Rams have not won a Monday Night Football game since their Super Bowl-winning 2021 season. It was a definitive victory as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 34-11 and advanced to the next round of the postseason. Since that game, LA has played four Monday night games and lost all of them.

2022:

Week 4: 24-9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers

Week 15: 24-12 loss to the Green Bay Packers

2023:

Week 3: 19:16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals

2024:

Week 10: 23:15 loss to the Miami Dolphins

Wild Card Round vs. the Minnesota Vikings: TBD

While Sean McVay is 1-0 in Monday Night Football playoff games, he is 0-4 since that crucial win on Monday Night Football. If McVay and the Rams lost to the Vikings in the next game, LA would have lost five straight Monday games. Since winning the Super Bowl a few seasons ago, they also went 0-2 in the playoffs.

By winning the NFC West, the Rams have achieved an important goal this year. If that’s all they hoped to achieve, mission accomplished, but if they aim for more, they’ll need to break their losing streak in games played on a Monday.

If they manage to get a win, they will end their losing streak on Monday while also starting a new winning streak in the playoffs.

Not a bad chance for a team that started 1-4.
