The Skyrim player finds out how to save Paarthurnax in a hidden alternate ending

Save our boy

Apparently you can stop the Blades from killing Paarthurnax while you’re still progressing in the quest line, it just takes a lot of effort.

You could make the quest easier by simply installing a mod, but as someone discovered, you can actually do it through in-game activities alone, you just have to jump through a few hurdles to make it work.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a neat little RPG that gives the player as many options as they want to progress.

You can play the game for days and probably still not find everything without a guide, but something you will naturally encounter is the powerful dragon Paarthurnax and the Blades, a faction that despises dragons.

The Blades are pretty cool, they have a nice story and some great weapons/armor, so completing their quest line is recommended. The only problem is that Paarthurnax is just a cool guy. So when they ask you to kill him for them, things get a little awkward.

If you want to keep the dragon voiced by Super Mario (yes, that’s real, look it up) And You can complete the Blades questline, but only on PC, by following the instructions on the game’s fandom page.

You’ll have to follow the quest lines as usual, but if you have to choose between your fire-breathing best friend or the gang of idiots who want him dead, you’ll have to enter some commands to spare him his cruel fate.

Or you could just do what most people do: tell the Blades to stick their swords where the sun don’t shine and murder them all before returning to Paarthurnax and swearing that you will never let that happen a soul hurt his precious little head.

If you’re the type of player who kills him instead, I’m sorry, but I don’t think we can be friends and you should be put on a watchlist.
