“The stakes can’t be higher” – The Challenge star Rachel comments on the competition among women

Challenge 40: Battle of the Ages will release its highly anticipated finale on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. It will document the final stage of the season, where the eight finalists will face a gauntlet of tough obstacles for a chance to win the $1,000,000 cash prize and the champion title. What remains are four men and four women who are determined to give each other tough competition.

In an exclusive sneak peek of the finale, published on The challengeEra I representative Rachel Robinson was shown on her official Instagram account on December 28, 2024 with the three other female contestants, reflecting on the competition she would face in the final. She refused to undermine anyone’s abilities and knew that each participant would do their best to survive.

“Every woman has to want to win the final women’s challenge day. The stakes cannot be higher right now,” Rachel said in a confessional.

The previous episode of Challenge 40: Battle of the Ages said goodbye to Cara Maria Sorbello and advanced Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, Derek Chavez, Jenny West, Jordan Wiseley, Kyland Young, Michele Fitzgerald, Rachel Robinson and Tori Deal to the final stages of the competition.


“We are all very strong women” – The challengeRachel claims anyone can emerge victorious

Despite staying in the water for almost two and a half hours, Cara Maria was unable to outlast Tori Deal in “The Final Elimination,” which required competitors to stay on the water for as long as possible. Cara Maria’s fear of sea creatures and dislike of swimming increased, costing her a place in the final. Due to their elimination, Tori, Rachel, Jenny and Michele made it to the final stage.

Although they respected each other’s gameplay and strategy, they refused to disappoint their era by handing victory to someone else.

“Any one of us could do it. If you look at everyone who is still in the game, we are all very strong women. At this point it’s just a matter of surviving to the finale,” Rachel said.

Meanwhile, Tori admitted that tensions are extremely high and will continue to escalate during the competition. Jenny added to the conversation, saying, “May the best woman win.” However, in the next sentence, she jokingly mentioned that if she sneaked into Tori’s room at night and broke all her fingers, the competition would decrease.

Rachel laughed at Jenny’s joke while Tori said:

“Not my fingers!”

Meanwhile, Jenny continued to mimic a chopping motion, hoping to lighten the mood.


The challenge 40‘s Cara Maria praised the women’s dedication and hard work

In an interview with Parade published on December 18, 2024, Cara Maria Sorbello commented on the women’s gameplay, praising their journey and applauding them for holding their own and reaching the final stage of the competitive series.

The challenge 40 Evictee praised Tori for her respect for the game and her competitors. Cara Maria revealed that Tori never stopped training and showed commendable development on the show, making her a strong contender for the winner’s title.

“She told me she worked out four hours a day, ran on the beach, did math problems, solved puzzles, went swimming and did intense boot camps. She wanted to win. She knew the level of women’s competition was going to skyrocket, and she put in a lot of effort and it showed,” Cara Maria said.

Cara Maria equally praised Michele for her hard work in the game. Although Michele led with heart, she ensured she outperformed others and stayed in the competition.

Although Cara Maria didn’t make it to the finals, she believed she did well against some of the “best swimmers” to ever compete The challenge.
