The striker of Alabama, the former top 10 recruit is reportedly the NCAA transfer portal

According to several reports late Saturday evening, Alabama Crimson Tide striker and former top recruit Derrion Reid entered the NCAA transfer portal after a season in Tuscaloosa.

The fourth Crimson Tide player, who does this in this low season, competes Reid from Mouhamed Dioubate, Jarin Stevenson and Naas Cunningham to travel Alabama since the 2024-25 season.

Reid, a key member of Alabama’s recruitment class 2024, came to Tuscaloosa to the best rated recruits in the history of the program, which according to 247Sports Composite Recruiting rankings were classified as No. 10 players in the country in the cycle. Reid, a five-star view, was also considered No. 2 of the total performance in the class.

Once in Alabama, Reid had an immediate influence on the Crimson Tide last season and started 3-von-24 games to average 6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game at 45% shooting out of the field. Reid, who also shot 26.3% of three and 57.9% on the free -wire line, dealt with injuries throughout the season and missed a large part of the second game before returning to the NCAA tournament.
