“The Talk” series finale airs December 20th, CBS announces new daytime drama

(WSAW) – After 15 seasons, the final episode of “The Talk” airs Friday.

According to CBS, hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood will welcome a variety of guests and big holiday gifts throughout the week. In December alone, the show will give away more than $2.5 million in giveaways to the show’s loyal audience.

It airs weekdays at 1 p.m. on CBS.

Reruns of “The Price is Right” will air at this time through February 23rd. A new daytime drama, “Beyond the Gates,” will premiere on February 24th.

The series stars Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnee Duplaix, Karla Mosley, Alex Alegria, Lauren Buglioli, Brandon Claybon, Timon Kyle Durrett, Sean Freeman, Ben Gavin, Marquita Goings, Jibre Hordges, Jen Jacob, Maurice Johnson and Trisha Mann- Grant with , Mike Manning, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ambyr Michelle, Colby Muhammad and Arielle Prepetit.

The show is set in suburban Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC, and in one of the wealthiest African-American counties in the United States. According to CBS, at the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that represents the epitome of black royalty. But behind these immaculate walls and lush, manicured gardens, juicy secrets and scandals wait to be uncovered. And those who live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who “made it” and those who didn’t are all trying to find their way in life…and some with more grace than others.
