The total lunar eclipse is only a week away: when and where you can see the blood moon

The wait is almost over! In just one week, Skywatchers in North America will be a spectacular overall moon eclipse, which is also known as a blood moon.

This will be the first overall eclipse since November 2022 and the first of three to take place between 2025 and 2026.

Alaska Zeit (Akdt): 10:26 p.m. – 11:31 p.m. (March 13)
Hawaii time (HST): 8:26 p.m. – 9:31 p.m. (March 13)
