“‘The Traitors’ Drops First 7 Minutes of Season 3 Premiere Episode”

There’s never been a better time to be a loyal fan of The traitors.

The Emmy-winning reality show, hosted by Alan Cumming, ushered in 2025 by releasing the first seven minutes of the season three premiere exclusively on Peacock on Wednesday, January 1.

The show will return to the streamer on January 9th with three episodes. After that, new episodes will premiere weekly on Thursdays until March 6th.

The first two episodes of the third season will also air on NBC on January 20th.

Fans were delighted with the New Year’s surprise and many took to social media to share their excitement for the new season.

“Danielle (Reyes) and Britney (Haynes) have drama in the second minute of Traitor 3,” one of the two wrote Big Brother Alums in the cast. “STOP THE COUNT, you should be the last 2.”

Another shared a GIF reaction of Heidi Klum saying “I want more” from an episode of America’s Got Talent with the caption: “After watching the 7 minute sneak peek.”

Writer Mike Bloom summed up the most dramatic parts of the preview: “Gabby (Windey) refuses to acknowledge (Tom) Sandoval” and “An opening turnaround in which a player can choose to bring Boston Rob (Mariano) into play and one to replace others.” “They are outstanding moments.

“Oh, things are about to get nasty,” someone replied in the comments.

The reality show challenges loyal contestants to identify a number of secret saboteurs among them in order to win a cash prize. The new season features 21 of reality TV’s biggest personalities, along with players from iconic reality shows like The Real Housewives, Survivors, Big Brother, The Bachelorette, Garden house, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Vanderpump Rules And Dancing with the stars.

The cast includes Wells Adams, Sam Asghari, Chanel Ayan, Bob the Drag Queen, Dolores Catania, Jeremy Collins, Robyn Dixon, Dylan Efron, Nikki Garcia, Bob Harper, Britney Haynes, “Boston” Rob Mariano, Dorinda Medley, Ciara Miller, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, Danielle Reyes, Tom Sandoval, Chrishell Stause, Tony Vlachos, Carolyn Wiger and Gabby Windey.

A teaser released in December 2024 states: RuPaul alum Bob the Drag Queen declared a “bloodlust,” while Dorinda Medley claimed that she “intends to leave as queen of the castle.”

Survivors‘s Wiger said she can “handle anything this game throws at me” as the clip showed snakes, fiery explosions and someone clinging on for dear life from a helicopter.

fellow Survivors Alum Mariano warned his cocky competition: “If I were them, I would be scared.”

Sandoval, meanwhile, seemed focused on how the show could serve as rehabilitation for his reputation. “People are finally taking me seriously,” he said in a confessional.

Who will take home the winning prize? Zac Efron took sides with his younger brother Dylan in a June interview Entertainment tonight and said he had “high hopes” for his relatives’ performance in the competition.

“I think he’s going to win,” the actor told the outlet. “He’s really good in games and I just feel good about it.”

“He’s just the best at games,” Zac added of his brother. “Growing up, he was a first-roll guy (at Yahtzee). If I were him, I would move to Las Vegas and just play games. That’s him.” well, so I had high hopes for him.
