I’ve been searching the internet for great deals on the best drivers I can introduce to you and this one really surprised me! In a video I made for the Golf Monthly YouTube channel earlier this year, I called the TaylorMade Qi10 driver the longest of 2024, along with the rest of its family, the Qi10 LS and Qi10 Max, to an insane one Discount available.

I think TaylorMade has done a great job with this entire family. My personal highlights are the much improved color scheme (I wasn’t a big fan of the stealth red) and the super clean infinity crown, which massively cleaned up the look. It wasn’t just about the aesthetics, I also found that each model delivers on its own individual promises when it comes to performance. The Qi10 LS, for example, is one of the lowest-spin drivers I’ve tested all year, producing a truly penetrating ball flight with its more compact pear-shaped head, while the Qi10 Max is arguably the most forgiving driver on the market right now. The exceptionally high MOI created by the stretched, rounded shape and heavy back weighting gives it a stability that really flatters off-center hits.

As I said, the model I (and probably more relevantly Scottie and Rory!) played is the standard or “core” model, which for me offers the absolute best of both worlds. It sits in a middle ground of spin, playability and even shaping that makes it suitable for almost every player. The clubhead has enough spin to make it playable for players with slower swing speeds, but not so much that it would differentiate it from those who can produce higher clubhead speeds, and when it comes to stability it really excels.

While the standard model doesn’t quite reach the level of the Qi10 Max – which is frankly off the charts – it does an excellent job of mitigating those less-than-perfect shots throughout the round, both in terms of dispersion and ball speed.

All joking aside, I really can’t think of a better time to update your driver.
