There is a low chance of snow on Wednesday

Nighttime temperatures will remain cool with lows around 20°C and cloudy weather.

Thursday promises to be more active, with a mix of snow and rain possible throughout the day. Snowfall will begin in the morning primarily in areas west and southwest of Lubbock, with snow accumulations expected to be around half an inch in most areas. Temperatures should rise slightly above freezing by Thursday afternoon, with a rain/snow mix possible in some areas off the Caprock.

When you’re traveling, give yourself more time and take it slow. Winter weather can make travel dangerous, especially on bridges and overpasses.

Clouds and wintry weather will clear on Friday, making way for sunshine and warmer temperatures, with highs reaching the 50s over the weekend.
