There’s no such thing as too much of The Ain’t Sisters!

So here’s what happens: As soon as we publish an article about the upcoming shows of The Ain’t Sistersthey are adding MORE shows! Now no one has ever complained about TOO MUCH ain’ts, we’re just saying…

that they have MORE shows! There are five shows in Florida starting Sunday, December 8th The original Café Eleven in St. Augustine. They even added a show AFTER creating their Florida tour poster (Cage brewing in St. Pete). They struck Holi Daze in Chamblee at the end of the month.

The Ain’t Sisters will play the legendary 40 watt club in Athens in January and a previously scheduled show at the ill-fated Recovery station. Two festivals are planned for the Florida Sand Music Ranch in Brooksville: Whippersnap Music and Arts Festival in February and Florida Americana Festival in April. The Ain’ts will also join Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and others in July Summer Concert Series at Beech Mountain Resort.

And of course they will announce a number of other dates as soon as we publish them. And that’s what we’re here for!

Oh, and there was that Suwannee Hulaween:

Paul Levine appeared on stages at important times. He came out to greet The Ain’t Sistersthe no-holds-barred combo from Atlanta that has built an amazing fan base. They were scheduled for three sets in the unlucky game Suwannee Roots Revival (Thanks for nothing, Helene); Levine’s introduction was simply magnificent and the quintet responded accordingly.

Arrie Bozeman started out with a full white beard and looked suspiciously like Bob Weir (who would appear next). Things went quickly as they ran through their setlist of original tracks, including the obligatory “Shake Your Taint.” “Creek > Late Checkout > Creek > Crime” was great and at the end they dedicated a beautiful new ballad to Lesh Barb Carbon titled “Beyond the Blue,” about the grief of losing friends too soon.
