This “mighty” audition let Lionel Richie jump off his chair from his chair to “American Idol”

The audition of Canaan James Hill subsequently of “American Idol” on Sunday evening was not only emotionally moving, it also moved physically.

After the performance, Richie approached Kanaan and put both hands on the candidate’s shoulders.

“That was powerful,” said Richie. “You were blessed.”

“Are you all right?” Judge Carrie Underwood as Richie returned to his desk.

“No, I’m not okay. Take a look where my seat is. I had to sit back here to listen,” he said, pointing out how far his seat was moved when he watched the performance.

“It was something so spectacular. I just can’t even describe what I heard,” he added.

Richie was not the only judge who was very impressed by Cananan’s performance.

Underwood said she was “speechless” of the singing of the Canaan and Bryan said he had “never seen anything like this”.

After a unanimous “yes” vote, Richie Canaan gave with a “platinum ticket”.

“It means that you can handle the first round of Hollywood and you can sit back and watch all the people you will kill,” said Richie, while you can award Kanaan of three highly sought -after tickets that “idol” judges, candidates.

“Hollywood Week”, in which the participants try to put their dreams from singing to fame, begins on Monday.
