Tigers defeat Bulldogs, 8-6, in comeback-mode-lsu

Baton Rouge, La.-Die fifth LSU roared from a 6-2 deficit with a fifth inning of five runs on Thursday evening when the Tigers scored an 8: 6 victory against Mississippi State in the Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

The LSU improved to 24-3, a total of 5-2 in the second, while the state Mississippi fell to 16-10 and 1-6 in the conference game.

The teams record the series at 6:30 p.m. CT Friday at the Alex Box Stadium, skip Bertman Field in a game that is broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and streamed in the Sec Network +.

A three-run home of the second Baseman Daniel Dickinson and a two-run explosion by Shortstop Steven Milam emphasized Fifth fifth when the Tigers scored a 7: 6 lead.

The LSU right-handed man Zac Cowan sat over the last 4.0 Inninging Brillant and remained for only one goal for the Bulldogs to earn his third season of the season. Cowan did not record walks and seven strikeouts while firing 59 parking spaces.

The right -handed Connor Benge (1-1) was attributed to the victory when he entered the game in the top of the fifth and allowed a run with a goal in 0.2 inning with two walks.

Mississippi State Reliever Dane Burns (1-1) was charged with the loss and gave up two runs for two goals in the fifth inning with a walk.

The game contained a total of six Home Runs, three of each team. Dickinson’s Dinger was his seventh of the year; Milam started his sixth Homer, and Leftielde Derek Curiel’s third Inning-solo blast was his third Homer of the season.

The Homer of the state of Mississippi were produced by Ace Reese, finger Joe Powell and First Baseman Hunter Hines by Third Baseman Ace Reese.

The LSU start mug Kade Anderson worked into the fifth inning and recorded 101 pitches with two walks and five strikes.
