TikTok ends search for Florida murder suspect

Police say Peca’s boyfriend, Benjamin “Bambi” Williams, met her at a cemetery so he could see his young son. However, the police claim that he shot her several times in the face while she sat in her car. Police said neither child was harmed.

Authorities launched a manhunt for Williams, describing him as “armed and dangerous.” He was also associated with a series of unrelated murders. The cops offered a reward of $25,000 for information on Willams and his whereabouts.

Tuesday, that St. Petersburg Police Department announced that they had finally received a tip that ended the three-year search. The department said in a statement it was contacted by a person who came across the TikTok video and recognized Williams, saying he is currently living in Mexico. Investigators then contacted the US Marshals Service and Williams was extradited to the USA.

Williams is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of child abuse. He is currently being held in the Pinellas County Jail without bail.

“Thanks to the dedication of St. Petersburg police officers and the invaluable assistance of the U.S. Marshals and ATF, a dangerous criminal was caught and justice was brought to the victim’s family. While nothing can restore the life of a beloved daughter and mother of two young children, we hope this offers them long-overdue peace and closure,” said St. Petersburg Police Chief Anthony Holloway.
