The No. 2 Huskers secured a share of the Big Ten title Saturday night by defeating Maryland 3-1 (25-27, 25-14, 25-8, 25-12) in front of a record crowd of 13,071. With a record of 29-2 and 19-1 in the Big Ten, they tied for the top spot with Penn State, marking their second straight conference title and 36th in program history – pretty impressive! However, not everything went smoothly. The Huskers got off to a slow start but completely dominated the final three sets and only trailed once after the first.

After posting 16 blocks against No. 4 Penn State the night before, Nebraska posted a season-high 20 blocks against Maryland, matching its highest since 2006. They also held the Terps to a brutal -.059 hitting percentage. With a win like that, the celebrations get wild!
