The UFC concludes its slate of pay-per-view events on Saturday with the UFC 310 fight card. UFC 31o takes place on Saturday, December 7th. UFC 310 Fight Card Main Event: Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura

Alexandre Pantoja (28-5) is on a six-fight winning streak heading into UFC 310. The 34-year-old Brazilian won the UFC flyweight title in July 2023 after two Performance of the Night submission victories. Pantoja captured the 125-pound title with a split decision win over Brandon Moreno. Since that win, Pantoja has defended his title twice, defeating Brandon Royval in December and Steve Erceg in May. Both fights ended in decision victories.

Kai Asakura (21-4) signed with the UFC in June. The 31-year-old is a two-time Rizin bantamweight champion. His first title run began with a knockout victory over Hiromasa Ougikubo. This reign ended with a knockout loss to Kyoji Horiguchi in his first defense. Following that loss, Asakura went 4-1 before reclaiming the vacant 135-pound belt with a TKO over Juan Archuleta in December 2023. Asakura has not fought since this victory.

The champion is the betting favorite in this match.

UFC 310 Fight Card Co-Main Event: Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry

The UFC has initially booked Shavkat Rakhmonov against UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad for this card. This fight failed when Muhammad was thrown off the field due to a bone infection in both legs. Instead of this fight, Rakhmonov will face Ian Machado Garry. Rakhmonov enters UFC 310 as the No. 3 fighter in the official UFC welterweight rankings, while Garry enters at No. 7.

Rakhmonov (18-0) is 6-0 as a UFC fighter. The 30-year-old has never overcome a distance in his career. He has five submissions under the UFC banner and one knockout. In his last appearance, Rakhmonov defeated two-time UFC title challenger Stephen Thompson in December 2023.

Garry (15-0) has an 8-0 record under the UFC banner. The 27-year-old has five decisions and three knockouts. In his last appearance, Garry defeated Michael “Venom” Page at UFC 303.

UFC 310 Fight Card: Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov

There’s also an important heavyweight scrap on the UFC 310 PPV card. In this duel, former UFC heavyweight title challenger Ciryl Gane faces Alexander Volkov.

Gane (12-2) is the No. 2 fighter in the official UFC heavyweight rankings. The 34-year-old French competitor has only lost in UFC title fights, losing by decision to Francis Ngannou for the undisputed title in 2022 and losing by submission to Jon Jones for the vacant belt in 2023. Gane captured the interim heavyweight belt in 2021 with a knockout against Derrick Lewis. In his last trip to the Octagon, Gane defeated Serghei Spivac by TKO. This fight took place in September 2023.

Volkov (38-10) is ranked No. 3 in the UFC’s heavyweight division. The 36-year-old has been with the organization since 2016 but has never fought for UFC gold. Volkov is currently on a four-fight winning streak, with his most recent outing being a decision win in June 2024 over interim title challenger Sergei Pavlovich.
