Timothee Chalamet’s ‘SNL’ Sketches Ranked (January 25, 2025 Episode)

This sketch, in which Chalamet and Mikey Day have a typical day at the park as “silly little dogs” who happen to talk like humans, starts off a little slow to talk a lot. Topics include peeing on mailboxes and humping shoes. The laughs come with the physical comedy – particularly Bowen Yang’s dog, who runs in circles with a case of the “zoomies.” Danger, Cats.

Move over, McDreamy and McSteamy. We call this handsome, promising young heart played by Chalamet… “McGassy.” You have to watch his groundbreaking new CPR technique to see why “the youngest head of cardiology in Johns Hopkins history” deserves an early look Gray’s anatomy Nickname. “Just doing my job. “Someone get this woman a glass of water and an Altoid,” he says with a cocky look after rescuing Grandma in this Ensemble sketch.

Add Bowen Yang in a sketch, hoping it will be funny. Chalamet and Yang star as AI podcasters who give random educational facts but refer to each other as “bae” and drop the relationship drama for students who are too distracted by their cell phones to pay attention to their human teacher in class. As with all things, the voices sound suspiciously robotic and glitches ensue. Keep an eye out for Chalamet’s extra finger and watch all the way through the dance break.

With neon yellow and voluptuous locks, Chalamet transforms into a fitness trainer’s lady love. The self-proclaimed “Bungee Queen” literally hypes his class as they are lifted with bungee cords and do all the moves he calls out: fly, swim, froggy, troll walk, jump off Jacks, Jimmy Carter. “This training is not for the faint of heart,” he warns a newbie (Michael Longfellow), the only man to join the bungee class. Chalamet hurls a few zingers Longfellow’s way over his sexual performance to entertain the women, rewarding them with a frosted cinnamon cake after they burn a collective five calories.

Props to the creators of this animated short The “Creator”, voiced by Chalamet. The cartoon parodies a group of angels (Mikey Day, Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline) who help God create the world. Chalamet’s God assigns them tasks like “exploding mountains,” aka volcanoes – “It’s going to be like, fire and s–. It’s sick,” he says – and throws them out at the first kangaroo in response. Chalamet gets the comedic one Timing just right as he orders people “straight to hell, forever” after making their bodies capable of pleasuring themselves, and is in tears at the carefully constructed Model of the angels of the solar system is not as strange as he is not as strange as he wanted it to be. Leigh MCG and Studio Showoff get on screen as animators and Streeter Seidell and Mikey Day as writers.

Chalamet gets to use his impressionistic and comedic skills in this sketch about training new employees that you might hope your co-workers never quit – because who knows what you’ll have to do when you try to take on the role.
