To sign the costs for the Chicago Bears, Kyler Gordon again

The Houston Texans were busy this low season and took steps to keep the core of their secondary intacts. In March they expanded the outstanding Cornerback Derek Stingley JR. Now they have given Jalen Pitre a 3-year extension worth around $ 39 million, according to the NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

This is the new standard for nickelbacks looking for new contracts, and you can be sure that Kyler Gordon is paid even more.

Selected 39th overall in the 2022 NFL design, Gordon was Poles’ first selection design as a GM of the Chicago Bears and was probably his best. After a difficult start to his career, a switch turned in the middle of his rookie season, which made Gordon one of the best nickelbacks in the league, if not the best. He moved in five interceptions, forced two fumbles and ended in 2024 with an impressive 76.0 grade of Pro Football Focus.

Poles previously rewarded reliable leaders. In 2023, Cole Kmet achieved a 4-year contract over $ 50 million, and Johlon Johnson secured a contract of $ 76 million in the last low season. Gordon probably feels that he will be in line next and he has the right to believe.

However, this probably has to wait because Ryan poles are usually not so close to the NFL design. If you want to complete a deal before the start of the 2025 season, look for that in May or June, and expect it to be nothing less than what Pitre has received.
